No min-maxing allowed for one game, just enjoy the dungeon crawling and the story (even if it skews slightly too easy for me). The 2D versions all have a classic feel that I really enjoy, and I also like how the character growth is set in stone. With IV, I like both versions for different reasons. I wasn't big on the remake's soundtrack, the story changes didn't add enough, and if I want that authentic Famicom feel from the late game gauntlets, I can just not save as often.
